Vernon Nyhuis

Head of Repair Delivery

Vernon Nyhuis brings over 35 years of telecommunications experience to his role. He started his telecom career with Subscriber Systems, Inc., as an Electronic Repair Technician.  After transferring to the sales department for a period of time, he was promoted to Plant Manager, relocating to the Las Vegas, NV facility, where he oversaw GTE/Contel repair operations. 

When privately held Subscriber Systems merged with several other companies and went public as World Access, Inc., Mr. Nyhuis was relocated back to the corporate office as General Manager of Plant Operations. In 1998, he joined Comdisco's start up Telecom Solutions Division as Director of the CO Telecom Solutions Division where he managed an over $1B portfolio of telecommunications assets. Returning to the private sector in 2001, Mr. Nyhuis joined Bay Technologies as Vice President of Operations, leading the provision of hardware and engineering services to telcos. 

In 2007, Mr. Nyhuis joined Restor Telecom to lead the Sales team.  When Fortress Solutions acquired Restor Telecom in 2015, he assumed senior leadership of the Customer Relations team and later the Procurement team.  In 2018, Mr. Nyhuis was promoted to Vice President of Operations for the Leesburg, FL facility. Today, Vernon manages the repair services departments for Fortress Solutions.
